Friends may come,
And many times go.
All the times that you're together,
Seem to pass so slow.
All the memories,
And all the laughs.
They're the only things,
That ever seem to last.
It seems when you graduate,
Your ends just don't meet.
You no longer hang out,
Beside you is an empty seat.
You never will forget,
The fights and fun you had.
But when everything disappears,
You look back at them so sad.
So hold on while you can,
Cherish every day.
For lifes' narrow walk,
Splits into more than one way.

Poetry: Time worth taking
A walk on the sand,
A stroll on the beach,
Your favorite band,
The first bite of a peach.
The warmth of the sun,
The mist from
Just gaze
For the time it takes
For a dewdrop to swell
And fall
Bouncing, glistening
To the stream below,
Bursting into a million

I take this time to figure out what I want in my life
I take this time to go to a place I can't seem to leave
I take this
There are more important things
happening in the world
than book reports and spelling bees
Can't you see?
I'm an integral part
Babies are full of wonder and awe,
As they learn to play and crawl.
They grow like weeds before your eyes,
A time to watch
