Poetry: A little longer

by Aly Mae

Created on: February 16, 2009

The way his blue eyes look at me,
Sometimes I want to cry.
To just be wrapped up in his arms,
I want him to hold me tight.

I wonder if he feels for me,
The way I care for him.
Still while I am so unsure,
I keep the feelings deep inside.

Every guy I've ever liked,
Has somehow broke my heart.
It makes me wonder what's wrong with me,
Have I not always done my part?

My heart is just so lonely,
I don't know what to do.
I have nothing to gain,
Yet I have nothing to lose.

I'm so scared of rejection,
That I let it pull me away.
I just want this guy so bad,
I have to convince him to stay.
