Jealously on part of the husband is always a good thing. I have read the "Rules of Love" established by Andreas Capellanus in 1158. There is one rule I had discovered: He who does not feel jealously is incapable of loving. If your husband does not feel the slightest bit of jealousy, then he does not really love you. While jealousy it not really a good thing, it is actually a good thing. Jealousy is something that is good for the marriage. It shows that the husband loves you.
In that respect, if your husband does not know or feel jealousy, he is not capable of loving you. You are pretty much in a loveless marriage if your husband does not feel jealous. Jealously is a natural part of love. That is something that you should think carefully about. As long as jealously does not turn into envy, then things should be good. Envy is the more extreme form of jealousy.
If you want to know the reason that husbands get jealous, this is why: Your husband loves you. He loves you a whole lot. If you are a guy and you have a wife, the same thing applies. If your wife does not feel any jealousy, then she is not capable of loving. That means your wife does not love you. If there is no jealousy then there is no love. That is the main thing you need to know: your husband loves you.
Why does the husband feel jealous?
The answer is obvious: he is afraid of losing you. He is afraid of comparison. In general, the husband is afraid of losing you.
There are several examples I can use.
Example One:
Say that you and your husband attend a UFC match. You may get excited at the guys beating each other up. Perhaps you might find some attraction to one of the fighters. Your husband is going to give you a look of jealousy. The chances are that your husband is not a mixed-martial arts fighter.
Your husband is going to feel jealousy because he cannot compare to a UFC fighter. But, that is not why you married him for. However, he will have the fear that you might leave him for a mixed-martial arts fighter.
Example Two:
Say that you and your husband go to another person's house for dinner. You two enjoy the dinner and the desert. The person that made the dinner and dessert is a guy. You might be entranced by the guy's cooking skill. Your husband may get jealous. Depends on how good of a cook he is. This is a very common scenario.
Your husband might get scared that you might leave him for a guy that can cook. Not all guys can cook. But, that is not why you married him for. Still, there is still the fear and concern from your husband.
But the obvious reason that your husband will feel jealousy is because he loves you. That is all you really need to know. If he was not jealous, then he does not really love you. The moment that your husband stops feeling jealous is the moment that you should start worrying about the marriage.
