There are so many aspects to our busy lives in today's society. Many people have obligations in life that involve to-do lists, schedules, checking voicemail, etc. These activities often require competitive routine actions. Many times these things are done while in a state of multi-tasking. Some examples include talking on the cell phone while driving, eating lunch while working at one's desk, or mediating an argument between your children while arguing with your spouse. No doubt some may see this as proof that are all at the top of our game. If you are one of these people, you are missing out on so much. If you take the time to remember the things you enjoyed as a child and try to connect to those things, you will discover the creative activities that you enjoy. Once you discover this, you must find time to engage in this activity on a regular basis regardless of your other commitments.

There are three main reasons why we should all appreciate and develop our creative powers. The first reason is it will allow you to stay in the moment. Staying in the moment while connected to something creative is the best thing one can do for his/her health. When you are doing creative work you are manifesting a gift whether it be drawing or painting, singing or writing. Staying in the moment helps us develop an appreciation for life and prevents us from worrying about negative things. While we are creating,we are
