Many people like to make their own movies. Often people post these videos to the internet on websites like http://www.youtube.com/, but also people want to have their movies on different computers. With the internet you don't have to buy some big transferable hard drive in order to transfer the movie onto another computer. So I will show you a few ways that you can use the internet to transfer your movies to all the computers you own. You can use torrents, converting website, or a streaming video recorder.

Say you save your movie as a torrent. Many movies are saved as torrent because torrents allow for large amounts of data to be distributed without hardware, hosting, and bandwidth costs. You can download that file using a Bit torrent client. My favorite Bit torrent is called utorrent. You can find it at http://www.utorrent.com/ . Utorrent is fast, free, and secure. It is a very simple application to use. Simply find where you posted your torrent on the internet and download it. Utorrent will download it for you and voila, you got your movie. It may take a long time to download your file depending on quality, length, etc., but after it's done you have that movie on that computer.

The second option you have involves no downloading of any application. Say you uploaded your movie to YouTube. All you have to do then is go to either http://keepvid.com// or http://www.youconvertit.com/convertfiles.aspx and paste the URL of movie from YouTube and get the file sent right to your email. Then you can download your movie from there. Also if you post your video to Google Video you can look it up on Google Video and download it straight from there.

The last option is using a streaming video recorder. This option may cost you some money so I don't suggest you should use it. Here is a website you could download one at anyways http://www.zdsoft.com/video-recorder/ . You simply just have to play your movie and the video recorder will capture it and save it. There are many websites where you can find movies to watch. My favorites are www.megavideo.com , www.alluc.org and www.tv-links.cc . Almost every movie imagined can be found on one of these three sites. With Megavideo you can search for movies in multiple languages. This is great if you happen to be studying another language.

These are some of best options for downloading your movies that you want wherever you may be. Now you will be able to access millions of movies worldwide. However, it is illegal to use any of the above websites to convert and/or distribute and/or transmit any thing that is not yours. Only download movies that are legally available. Please be responsible and have fun with your movies wherever you may be.
