Hand me a chocolate bar, creamy and smooth
Let it melt leisurely, indulge my sweet tooth
Turn down the lights please and hand me a book
Now go away, far away from my cozy nook
I'll open the window, invite a quite breeze
Slip into bed, give my pillows a squeeze
Blissfully content with my favorite things
Perfectly happy - I may even grow wings
For I plan a long evening in a dreamland of rest
Ever more peaceful, hopes rising to the crest
So leave now, don't linger, do not delay
My favorite things and I, all worries at bay

Poetry: My favorite things
by Crystal Cook
Beauty and music, sunshine and light
The wings of a dove softly rustling in flight.
The smell of the morning after summers
Listening to music on a lazy afternoon
or snuggling up by a warm, cozy fire
If the tree's leaves are golden and orange
Running
My favorite things
Joy they brings
The rustling wind and the swaying trees
Reminds me of honey that comes from bees
I like
Hand me a chocolate bar, creamy and smooth
Let it melt leisurely, indulge my sweet tooth
Turn down the lights please and
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT YOU
I love your gleaming brown eyes
And the way your hair naturally lies.
I love the wya your hand accidentally
