What believing in God means

I believe in God because I'm part of His very Soul, and I know that when my body 'dies' I will return to my original starting place, in His Soul. He created me, knitted me together in my mothers womb, without Him doing that I would never have come to earth. Just like His Son, although Jesus was Begotten, not Made.. He arrived through the Virgin and was a man, first a baby, then a child, then a man. Just exactly like we evolve in humanity, Jesus evolved with a difference.

Jesus Christ, never knew sin. He never suffered the pain of sin, until, it was His duty to suffer ALL the sin of the men and women of earth - He did that by suffering and dying on the cross. No one knew why they hated Him, no one knew why they wanted Him to die - they only knew that HE MUST DIE.

Jesus Christ knew after He started His teachings aroung His thirtyth year that He was chosen to die for us, and He often wished for that cup to pass on because He was human as well as Divine, but it was God's Will and so Jesus fulfilled it, with Honor and Grace.

God loves us just as much but He does Jesus, but He does not require us to die such a death. Just have faith in Him is all He asks us to do, such an easy thing, to have hope in love, hope in life, hope in security and peace, all these are signs of faith in God. Remember to have hope and you will always have faith. Some people do not even realize they have such faith, but if they have love in their hearts, for their friends, for their relatives, for their children, for their parents, then they have faith in God.

What a blessing to KNOW you have faith in God, what a comfort in life, what a miracle to hold out your right hand and have Jesus take it saying to you, " I the Lord, Your God, will take your right hand saying unto you, fear not for I will help you."

Yes, every time I need real help, He gives me His Hand, even more, He picks me up and He carries me.... Praise His Name, and Thanks be to Him forever!

I am suffering from depression. Everyone I've ever come in contact with that suffers mental illness of some kind or another is agnostic or aetheist... I don't know why. It would seem they, of all the people of the earth, would have a greater faith, but fear invades their souls, the adversay speaks to them and they weaken, they forget to ask God for help, God is so ready to do battle for us, and all He needs is to be asked, because He made us free, free to choose what we want... I want His help, I need His help, I won't live without Him.
