SILK
Two silk scarves
One gold
One silver
Are thrown into the wind
They entwine
And tangle
Blown before the gale
They flatten
Dance together on each gust
Then separate
And disappear from view
Later...
They are found
Far away
The gold lay on the ground
The silver in a bush
Both dirty
Their luster gone
Frozen shapes
In winter
That still seem
To reach for each other
Like lovers
