This was a song I wrote for my wife.

I Do (Do You Still Remember? )

Do you still remember

all our long coversations

when you'd call around sunset

and then we'd talk 'till the dawn?

Or the way that I kissed you

as we stood out on your front porch

did you thank God for that second date

when the first went so wrong?

Did you feel scared or nervous

on the night that I asked you

as I bended on one knee

with a ring in my hand?

Do you look back now with no regrets

and wonder if I feel that way too

then listen close and you will know

that I do.

There's not a day that passes by

when I don't thank God for you.

The only doubt that comes to mind

is if you feel just like I do?

'Cause your my first thought every morning

your my silent prayer each night.

And when I'm feeling down

or all alone

you help me see that I'm alright.

So let me say that I remember

the first moment that I loved you

and I can say without hesitation

I'm right where I'm supposed to be.

And yes I felt both scared and nervous

on the night that I asked you.

Could you see how I was trembling

while I was down upon my knee?

I wasn't questioning my question

only hoping for an answer

that would mean that I could grow old

and share each moment I have with you.

So even though it's been so long

since we both said the words "I do"

I'll say it now and every day

I love you.
