All the famous poets of India have in their poems described the beauty of dark, large and round eyes of women and how men are readily enticed by it and are bade to fall in love at the first sight. In all the traditional well known poems and songs written by our beloved artists they prioritized the beautiful eyes of women and emphasized the fact that a woman's beauty is incomplete without her beautiful black eyes. Consequently through this requirement of possessing beautiful eyes and through the years of globalization realizing this need immense eye beautifying agents has been introduced in the market by different companies e.g eyeliners, mascaras, eye shadows and other such eye make-ups. Now everybody more or less knows the secrets of eye beautification but do they know the ways to take care of this precious organ and ways to retain it's healthiness? Don't worry cause I am writing below some invaluable tips which everybody should follow to maintain eyes' well being.
(a) Feed vitamins A, B and C regularly to your eyes because Vitamin A prevets nightblindness and fatigue and puts a sparkle to dull eyes while vitamins B and C prevents eye-strain and cataracts.
(b) To soothe, clear, brighten and refresh tired eyes bathe them daily in chilled pure rose water.
(c) To relax tired eyes , rub your whole face with ice, then dip two cotton -wool pads in iced water and place them on your closed eyelids. Lie down in a darkened room for 10 minutes and relax by having your feet up against the wall. By having your feet higher than your head , the blood moves towards the heart and refreshes the whole system including the eyes.
(d) Take at least eight hours' sleep in the night. In the morning and evening splash your eyes hard with tap water to get wide-awake feeling, tone the eye-muscles and clean and remove impurities from within.
(e) If you need to wear spectacles wear well-fitted, good looking ones because they remove all the tension and strain from your eyes. Wear glasses only when you need them because if you are wearing glasses all the time your eye muscles hardly get the chance to relax.
(f) To get rid of dark circles from under the eyes take at least eight hours' sleep every night and avoid reading late at night or any work which requires strong visual concentration e.g. sewing, writing etc.
(g) Every night before going to bed, apply a teaspoon of almond oil mixed with half teaspoon of lime juice and apply on the dark surfaces under the eyes. Every morning, after washing your face gently apply equal mixture of tomato and lime juice. Every week bleach the areas with ammonia and hydrogen.
(h) Finally take adequate exercises and yoga lessons.
I am proud to share all this valuable tips with you. Follow this and I hope it will work out perfectly for you. Thanks for reading my article.
