Coming home from work, that sickening feeling is starting to rise from the bottom of my tummy!
I start to sweat,I cant sit still in the transport taking me home...
I fidget,I play nervously with my hair!
Im in deep thought,So deep in thought their are 50 or more people on my bus...
I dont see them, nor hear them, but they are their!
So engrossed of events that will be coming my way..
As I walk through the door of that place I called home!
Im praying the trip home will be delayed!
Hoping it will take much longer to reach...
That place I call home!
I get off at my destination,in a trance...
Seemed so long my journey!
Damn,it wasnt that long after all...
No matter how slow I trudge...
To that place I call home!
The inevitable is about to pounce upon me...
In that place I call home!
I tippy toe up the front steps...
Of that place I call home!
I stop breathing,in case he may hear me...
I pray he isnt inside...
Of that place I call home!
I hear footsteps,I flinch...
My dry mouth swallows hard!
Taking a deep breath..
I pray that I had been perfect,in everything I touched and cleaned..
In that place I call home!
My thoughts are overwhelmed with fear...
Im asking myself?
Is their anything I forgot to do?
That wont call for a beating...In that place I call home!

I am saving you
In my eyes of heaven
I see that hell surrounds you
I see that you see my eyes as hell
I am saving you
In my eyes
The wind breezes past her,
She shivers and looks around
At the darkness, wondering if
She'll ever escape it.

I start to sweat,I cant sit
My life began
Not so great
And I thought for sure
That I would be bait
With enemies all around me
And no place to call home
