I'm still studying you, struggling to determine if I'll dub you mine or not.
It doesn't matter anymore; we're already slipping, or maybe it's just me.
I'll awaken to those eyes all over again
Hopeful they're more open and cobalt
Than the eyes of the aggressor I run from.
Whom I still battle in my thoughts
Wake up together with you
And weep
It always seems like something's falling apart one second
And mended the next day.
What kind of man have you become?
Are you man at all?
And why am I still here
Doubting
Just in the offing
To be left last
When the voices inside my head are all blaring
