Celebrities, what would we do without them? We watch them on television, we follow them through the pages of entertainment magazines, we buy their products and voice our opinions about their life, actions and bloopers. So what will 2009 be like for many of those dazzling stars...time will tell.

This year could hold a lot for one Miss Britney Spears. She's had a few rough years, but she's pulled herself together somewhat and is making not only sweet music again, but has done a lot of damage control in regards to her somewhat tarnished reputation. Angelina Jolie and her dashing husband have been touting new looks. What are they up to? Are they trying to start a new trend or revive an older trend? Images of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall come to mind. This "Golden" couple always draws a crowd. Will Angelina be making another "Tomb Raider" movie? Let's hope so! Could be, her leading role is having more children. With that in mind, could another baby be in the works adopted or created, with her gorgeous husband. Maybe 2009 will bring about another "Tomb Raider" movie or another baby.

When is Ryan Seacrest going to settle down? That man has his hands in so many things, you've got to wonder when he sleeps! With 2009 barely creeping in, battles arise on American Idol. Will Ryan push one to many of Simon's buttons this year? Will the bikini clad woman make such an impression on Ryan, she'll be the gal he finally succumbs to? You've got to wonder if Ryan will ever be a part of any of those reality shows he produces. Maybe there will be a Ryan Seacrest reality show! Whatever he decides to do in 2009 you can bet it will involve money.

Plastic surgery seems to be the newest form of jewelry. Some flaunt it so openly, while others tend to deny the obvious, who will be the next wearer of new and improved body parts? Many celebs such as Joan Rivers, Janice Dickinson, Omarosa and Dolly Parton have openly confessed their love for the knife. So who will be the new kids on the block undergoing plastic surgery in 2009? Whoever it is you can be sure we'll be watching.

Let's hope 2009 will see good things happening for the "Girls Next Door". With each of the girls going their own way now, what is going to happen to the reality show? How will we fill our time we've allotted on Sundays for this television viewing program? Oh, we know Hefner will still be a successful business man with "Playboy", but the reality show "The Girls Next Door" let many wanna be bunnies and admirers glimpse the life within the walls of the "Playboy" world. Yes, wherever they are, celebrities draw our attention. Their very pubic lives and not so public lives have us scouring the gossip magazines and television shows wanting more. Each year brings its own mishaps and successes. No doubt about it, 2009 will hold many opportunities for tongue wagging and opinion giving.
