My wife, love of my life
Threw my stamp collection in the bin
My wife, trouble and strife
Expects me to do, everything
She makes me sweep the floor, answer the door
Rub her back with a special cream
I have to cook her meals, just to cop a feel
She's the boss and I'm the team
My wife, love of my life
Cut the arms off my favourite shirt
My wife, trouble and strife
Knows just how to hurt
She makes me mow the lawn, provide the brawn
When she can't open a jar
Just for a treat, she makes me rub her feet
Then wash her car
My wife, love of my life
Deleted a Lost episode from the Tivo
My wife, trouble and strife
Should I give her the big heave-ho?
But she knows, that I can't go
That I'll never leave her for another
There's one thing for sure, more and more
I should never have married my mother

She gives meaning to my life...
Her smile lights up my heart each day,
She's my best friend,
