As a mother of twins, Sarah and Isabella who are now in their terrible twos I understand the differences between a single pregnancy and a multiple pregnancy, there are so many more challenges and questions from what to expect to am I doing it right, to I am going absolutely crazy please somebody understand and help me! thankfully with the immense size of the internet it is very easy to connect with a group of people dealing with the same issues that you are. Message boards or forums are a place on the internet where you can meet and talk with parents that are going through the same things you are, it helps so much to be able to reach out to someone that understands.
One of the biggest of these message boards is Twins Magazine, they have been around for more than twenty years. Besides their very informative online and print magazines they feature an extensive research section as well as their extremely popular message boards. Their easy to navigate website can be found at http://forum.twinsmagazine.com/.
WebMd is another site popular with parents of multiples whether you are expecting or already raising twins triplets or heaven help you any more. They refer to their message forums as a Support Group and they are exactly that. I like the fact that this site also offers many well written and professional researched articles on many different subjects relating to childbirth and rearing. Their well attended message forums can be found at http://boards.webmd.com/webx/topics/hd/parenting/Par ents-of-Multiples-Support-Group/
Parenting.com has a wide variety of topics in their parenting forums but they have several sections that specialize in parents of multiples including a must read section on freebies and giveaways. It's also a great place to find some real money saving coupons on the tons of baby supplies we all need. Check out this well known and trusted publisher at this address: http://forums.parenting.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28
The re are many more message boards for parents of multiples available, the best thing to do is do a search on google for the boards and visit a few just to get a feel for the attitudes in the forum, you will soon find a group that you feel comfortable with and before you know it you will probably have made lifelong friends and confidants.I know you will find, just like I do that it makes things that much easier if you just have a place to share your fears and even your triumphs.
