How to tell if an internet job is a scam

Internet scams are becoming more common than ever. Especially jobs that claim to pay $1,000/hr working from home! You have to realize that no one is going to pay more than $8 per hour to you if you don't have special skills or something to offer. It is difficult but not impossible to figure out if your job is real or not.

Here are some ways of finding out:

Search Engine: Use the search engine to find out if the company you are working for is legit or not. There are thousands of sites, which pay people to write reviews and inform about scams, and Internet is the perfect place to find about any scams that your company has done. Since your job is online there should be some reviews on the company you are working with and you will be able to critique their reputation. Just type the name of the company you are working with and search for information, which deals with your company.

Wages: If you are promised hundreds and thousands of dollars to just do some clicking online, then you should be able to figure out that the job is bogus. However, some people still don't believe themselves and trust the amazingly promising letter, which is perfected for fraud and is revised thousands of times just to get your attention and money. High wages promise, especially without any skill or special knowledge is definitely a scam.

Financial commitment: "Here is my book which costs $50 which will help you become a better worker. After that you will be able to work with me". This type of financial commitment is a scam because the employer never asks for financial commitment and you should never give financial commitment because you are supposes to get one. Not sign one.

Low wages: A scam doesn't have to be something, which doesn't pay you. A scam site also means a site or a company, which pays you less than you deserve. Most writing sites, which are on the Internet, are examples of these scams. They pay on time, have excellent customer service, but they pay you pennies and gobble up the millions of dollars by themselves. If you think you are not getting paid enough per hour, quit your job because your time is not worth ten cents per hour.

Unclear agreement: This one is difficult to catch. Before you sign any type of agreement, make sure you read terms and conditions because many of those agreements contain stuff such as "If you quit before the first year, we will keep all your prior earnings", etc. If you have an agreement which doesn't state much and is unclear, the company is probably trying to scam your time

These are the ways you can tell if you're online job is a scam or not. Remember that most jobs online scam your time not your money. They mostly make you spend thousands of hours on their site to make ad revenue and you become a slave for them. There are money related scams but they are easy to catch. What is not easy to catch or report is a site, which scams you of your time and pays you in pennies. Do your research, ask friends, post on forums, read the terms and conditions and make sure the company is paying realistic salary.
