Television will never become extinct because it is a necessity throughout the world. To prove it will never become extinct in just a couple months television will upgrade to digital, so if you do not purchase a converter box to upgrade your television or a High- definition television it will only prevent you from watching television in your home. This is an alternative for parents to use who chose to raise their children without television, so parents do not purchase the converter box to upgrade your television in the home.

How effective will it enable a parent to raise their children without television in the home? I'm sorry to say this like anything in the world made to be broken this absurd idea to band television can be broken, too. Children are required to attend school because it is the law, so a student who attends school can gain access to a television. There is no preventive measures to raise children without television because when a child visits a relative or friend's home they can gain access to television.

This is just my introspection that parents should not raise their children without television because it is educational, fun and entertainment for adults and children. However, parents should supervise their children when they are watching television and enable parental control on their television. Monitoring what your child watches on television is every parent responsibilities. When I was a kid my family owned one television which was family time. And this is what parents need to do make television a family time then they will know what their child is watching on television.

Parents should start with removing televisions out of their children bedroom's and enable parental control especially for cable channels. Maybe if parents removed televisions out of their children bedroom's they can get them to start sitting around the dinner table together, then you will have the entire family connected and talking and parents will know how to make television a family time. In today's society who can live without a television? Television is the most state of the art equipment in the world to keep you abreast with what is happening around the world. Unfortunately, today in society television airs anything to come into our home, so it requires parents and their children to use common sense when watching television.

My question to the parents who chose to raise their children without television: Will you next raise your children without computers in the home? I believe raising children with a computer in the home is more of a concern than raising children without television. The foremost and important thing for parents to learn is a familly who prays together, stays together.
