Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with over sixty miles of beautiful, sandy beaches is truly the "Grand Strand" of the East Coast. It is a memory in the making' family getaway for a fun kid friendly vacation. A visit to Myrtle Beach is sure to bring loads of South Carolina smiles to all your family's faces. On this pristine stretch of beach, your family will find so much to do - you'll have to be careful not to spend all of your time deciding. Here is a sampling of the Myrtle Beach activities that your kid's will love.




The Beach: There is plenty of room for a family to spread out and enjoy this sixty mile stretch of glorious beach. Take a picnic onto the beach, then enjoy swimming, wave riding, boogie boarding, skim boarding, shell collecting, kite flying and of course, sand castle building(the hard packed Myrtle Beach sand makes a great foundation)! Don't forget to take lots of pictures. Free.




Your Resort or Hotel : Check your resort for enjoyable entertainment. Most have indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds and some even have a lazy river. Free. Lots have special activities for children of all ages including the littlest guest for a nominal fee.

Travel through Dangerous Reef surrounded by sharks, pet the rays at Ray Bay, hold a horseshoe crab at The Sea for Yourself Discovery Center, and get your picture taken with Sharkee.
