I never believed them when they said

"Be patient, love will find you

when you least expect it"

but I couldn't have been more wrong

'cause when I saw you smile

I knew

True love had just caught my eye

Truth is

you were there all along

I just wasn't looking in the right place

oh, but now

to wake up next to your beautiful face

every morning

I give thanks

every day

I am more grateful

to know you, Love

to know you are true

and you are kind

you are honest

and yes

you are mine, Love

you are my heart's greatest desire

and I will do my part to show you
