Living in the moment: What about tomorrow?

There is a saying about don't worry about tomorrow because toady there is enough troubles to worry about. If we worry about tomorrow, we will be so tense about what we are going to do about the mortgage that is due, and there is only five dollars in the bank, the mortgage is a thousand dollars. Yes, that is something to worry about but is it worth ruining today? Why barrow tomorrow's troubles when today has enough of its own?

Tomorrow we may not be here. Tonight we may go to bed and not wake up tomorrow. We may wake up somewhere else like in the meadows of Heaven where there is no more sorrow or worrying over there. We should live today as if it is the last day we are here on this earth because tonight Jesus may come back. What have we done today for Jesus that we can answer when we have been called to account? Have we used every second, minute, hours, days, and months, then most of all years to the most pleasing for Jesus?

Today there may be troubles, yet, we are given just enough grace to get through today. We are given no more grace then what we need to day for tomorrow is another day and our grace starts all over again, freshly renewal in the morning. Today share a smile with somebody that is down. Call a friend and visit them let them know that you care, because tomorrow they could be dead, then there is no way of telling them how much you care. Putting things off until tomorrow can be the saddest moments for us when the phone rings, or a policeman shows up at our door telling us a spouse won't be coming home again because they were just killed. Did you tell your spouse that you loved them before they left to be off to work?

Tonight before you lay, your head down for sleep thank the Lord for this day. Ask Him to be beside you tonight and again tomorrow. Thank Him for the full moon that is out tonight. Thank God, for the cool breeze that blows the rain days or the sunny days, for all across the fields the flowers that will bloom tomorrow.

Tomorrow thank God for the beautiful baby that came into the world in the early morning hours. Pray for tomorrows joys of this one new life will one day come to know Christ as their Savior, the joy the parents will have for many tomorrows to come.

Pray tomorrow for yesterday's joys to be sweeter tomorrow. Tomorrow the one blessed soul that heard the voice of Jesus that went running into His arms knowing that there will be no tomorrow or yesterday because the day has no end for today is never ending. Don't put off today's work for tomorrow for the more will be put off until tomorrow. Tomorrow will never come.
