This can be viewed as a "trick question". Any Christian will say that you can ONLY get to heaven by getting baptized. Well, as a Pagan, I have to disagree! I don't believe in heaven or hell. But let's say you are 40 years old, you've been in trouble with the law most of your life. You were brought up in the church, so you KNOW who and/or what GOD, Heaven, and Hell are. And How to get there. Then you are shot and the DRs. are telling you there's nothing they can do. You're going to die. In that moment you recall your upbringing and call out to God because you don't want to go to Hell. Now, yes, according to scripture, you have asked for forgiveness and you will go to heaven.

Now, suppose you NEVER knew about God, Heaven and Hell. And You are a good person. You know, you've never been in trouble with the law, you worked hard all your life, you helped people less fortunate than yourself, you gave ALL you had to your family. Then you get shot. The DR. says your going to die. Now what? According to scripture, because you didn't know Him, you're going to Hell.

I say, No! You were a GOOD person! If you had known Him, you would surely go to Heaven. But you didn't that is NOT your fault! If I did believe, then YES you WILL go to Heaven. And God would look at your actions in life and see that you deserved to sit next to Him. See, I believe in Karma and the Afterlife. The way I see it is what ever you do in this life will effect your next life. Three fold! The first person I wrote about, would be dealt a worse life in the chance that he/she will change his/her ways and stay out of trouble. As for the Second person, because he/she was good, His/Her next life will be Three times better so He/She can be rewarded for the previous life. In hopes that he/she will stay on the same path.

Now If you were a Christian all of your life and you were good and followed the Word to a tee. And one day your found out your spouse was cheating on you and you just lost it. You went and shot your spouse and His/Her lover and killed them. Yes, you may be be sorry and you may have asked for forgiveness. You're convicted for your crime and you go to prison. Will you go to heaven? Yes, you would. But again, I say that you shouldn't. You knew what you did, it wasn't because of insanity. You willingly went out and broke one of the Ten Commandments. And as scripture says you WILL be punished! That being said, NO you won't go to Heaven.
