Inner Me Inner You
I thought it was the outer you that use to comb my hair,
When it really was the inner you, showing that you cared.
I thought it was the outer you that bandaged my knee,
When it really was the inner you, saying you loved me
I thought it was the outer you that caressed me with your hands,
When it really was the inner you, saying you understand.
I thought it was the outer you that scorned me in my youth,
when it really was the inner you showing me the truth.
I thought it was the outer you that made my life glow,
when it really was the inner you helping me to grow.
I thought I loved the out you with all my heart,
when it really was the inner you I loved from the start.
It's just been lately that it occurred to me,
that what I loved most of all,you really couldn't see.
The outer you,was just a shell that carried the inner you,
I thought that when it passed away, the inner you did too.
Only now I realize as before I couldn't see,
That the inner part of you is now an inner part of me.
I quess its part of living as growing has its pain,
But its nice to think, the inner me may someday do the same.
Everlasting life, maybe that's what it's meant to be,
The outer you's passing the inner you's to all the inner me's

Dearest Children
Birth and death
Grow out of life
Who plants them
We do not really know
But God is our answer
Birth we let it
Death of a loved one is all about one and two.
Don't cry your loved one is not far away,
so why not ask them to sit with

Gathering lace and paper to create,
loving memory for the special date.
Pink, red valentines
