Sometimes you have the words deep inside your brain
And they're just dying to get out into the open
To be read by possibly millions of eyes
Sometimes there seems to be too many damn critics
Going over every last word with a microscope
You'd think they were surgeons or something
But what do they know, they're just wanna' be
Writers who can't get anything out
Lacking the acumen to hold a decent conversation
So you keep on writing and hoping for the next bestseller
That will get you the big house and brand new car.
DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR TOO LONG!
