Release
Writing is nothing more than creation of the mind
A way of releasing everything kept in your soul
It's the source of all evil; the source of all good
But in all senses, it's purity as a whole
Writing can be your voice
When you can't find perfection
Or it can be your tears
When the words are never present
It's an escape from everything surrounding you
For anyone: a king a god a peasant
Writing can be the shoulder you need
When everything is wrong
It can provide the answers you seek;
One's you just can't find
A guide through all your sufferings
In simpler terms; peace within the mind
Writing is not an action, but rather, a state of being
A state of release; a state of hope
It can be anything you wish it to be
Your pain; your joy; your willingness to cope
Writing is my way of accepting
Of dealing with my pain
It's my escape my push to continue on
A reason to live another day to continue breathing
No matter how much I run, it's never gone
Writing has been my aid
It has helped to heal my wounds
It's been everything I needed to help dry my eyes
An aid to tell the world how I feel
It's helped form my words from cries
Writing is what's in my heart
It's everything I'll ever be
It's helped me through everything
The outcome now is me

For Those Who Wait In Silence
Writing, for now, is my lover abroad;
