There are many people out there that ask themselves, "Should I get a scalp massage?" A scalp massage is a great idea to consider because there are many benefits, and it is overall good for you.

There are many benefits of scalp massage. It can greatly help prevent dry scalp and flakiness that occur with long hair. The scalp massage gets rid of the flakiness in your hair because of the natural oils that lubricate the scalp during the massage. This leaves your hair and scalp clean and refreshed. The massage can also help the blood circulate more thoroughly through your neck and head.

If you are a lady out there that is dieing to have that "movie star hair", a scalp massage is definitely for you. There are many examples of how a scalp massage can help your hair. Among these examples are that the massage will help strengthen your hair, while spreading the natural oils, leaving it thick and full of vibrant color. The massage will also protect and keep you hair safe from weathering and the sun's harmful rays.

A scalp massage is done when a special essential oil is picked for your hair and scalp. These oils consist of tea - tree, lavender, peppermint, rosemary, and chamomile. Your hair must then be brushed, so that all the flaky parts are removed. Oil is taken in small amounts at first and is gently massaged in circular movements near your temples and the rest of your scalp. When all the oil is all used up you wash the oil out of your hair with a good shampoo and conditioner. These are the basic steps for a scalp massage, but professionals use many other tactics that help relive your stress to make your hair beautiful.

There are many pressure points that you should ask the masseuse to get while massaging your scalp. First, ask her to get your temples. This can help you relax and stay calm throughout the massage. You also want the masseuse to get the the area where the spine ends and the skull starts. It feels great when the masseuse pushes up into your neck for a little bit, as this also helps you to relax and enjoy your massage.

So if you ever wondered if a scalp massage was the thing for you, you now know how great and effective it can be on your scalp and hair.
