You might be wondering what a Geox shoe is. The answer you are going to get is rather simple, here it is: a breathing shoe! You heard it right, Geox shoes are designed to breathe. There is a system of ventilation ports on the bottom of the shoe, that allows this "breathing" technique to happen. With every step you take, the membrane in the ventilation system, allows water and moisture to escape and lets fresh dry air in. You might now be wondering how these shoes work in water, well they aren't entirely waterproof unless stated so by the manufacturer, however while dry air is coming in, liquid is not! When you are stepping in a shallow puddle, you won't need to worry about liquid coming in. Again they are not all totally waterproof, but this shoe does cut down on wetness greatly. The worst feeling in the world is when you step in a little puddle, yet your whole foot and shoe are soaked.

This shoe isn't just about keeping water from puddles out, it is about letting water and liquids out as well. He obviously can't wear sandals in the winter, so when cold weather hit we were on the hunt for new shoes. Geox has been a life saver! My son no longer complains of hot, wet, stinky or hurting feet. He will wear his shoes all the time now. I was very panicky when school time hit, they often have to take their shoes off and I was so afraid his feet would stink. Luckily we found Geox shoes the winter before he started school, I don't have to worry about stinky shoes and socks anymore!
