Poetry: Thoughts

by Brianne Chohrach

Created on: February 11, 2009

A book filled with blank pages

My only sanctuary to hide away

A place to lavish out the details of my day

I turn here to try and relate my emotions

Pack them into a mumbled mess of words that express my feelings

It's sad, really, that I have no one else to tell

Or anyone remotely on the same level as me

So, here I am stuck writing

Filling page after page

With my nonsense

That no one besides me will ever read

Everything sealed away

In this time capsule

Known as a diary,

A journal,

Or, in my case,

A friend
