A book filled with blank pages
My only sanctuary to hide away
A place to lavish out the details of my day
I turn here to try and relate my emotions
Pack them into a mumbled mess of words that express my feelings
It's sad, really, that I have no one else to tell
Or anyone remotely on the same level as me
So, here I am stuck writing
Filling page after page
With my nonsense
That no one besides me will ever read
Everything sealed away
In this time capsule
Known as a diary,
A journal,
Or, in my case,
A friend
