You Told Me To
Your name still lives on the tip of my tongue,
I'm still rattled when you're near,
My heart still wishes you were here.
I still love you like no other,
But I'm moving on like you told me to,
Living the life I use to dream I'd live with you.
My soul is nothing more than sparlking pieces,
The result of your saying goodbye.
All the hopes I had blew away like ashes in the wind,
And even though my eyes fills with tears at the thought of the love you never returned,
I'll still be strong as I move on like you told me to.
I use to think you were scared,
That deep down inside you cared too.
You just needed time.
Now I know it was just wishful thinking,
That I was just living a lie.
So I've finally given in,
I've given up on what I thought you wanted,
Becoming the person I was meant to be.
In time I'll put the pieces back together,
Find that one who will cherish what I have to give,
Leaving behind all those sweet memories of the two of us,
Just like you told me to.

TIME
Time takes its toll and rolls along
To the beat of an unnamed tune.
Will time run out and leave you
Asking why it ended
Do you remember when we toured those doleful graveyards,
Scaring ourselves with the evanescence of this life,
Searching for
Nature's Man-Made Disaster
In waters thick with sinking oil, black oblivion bows
Nature's lovely creatures struggling to
