So you have decided to expand your jewelery wardrobe but you don't want to break your budget. How can you find a good deal on jewelery? Well the Internet is a good place to start your search. Ebay is full of bargains on quality jewelry. www.ebay.com. You can find new and used pieces available at very reasonable prices. A word of advice when using Ebay, always check the sellers feedback. You want to make sure that you are purchasing from a honest seller. You can access their feedback comments from other people who have purchased items from that seller in the past. Ask questions! You are going to want to make sure that there is a return policy in case you decide you aren't happy with your purchase. Depending on the amount of money you are willing to spend, purchasing insurance on your items is always a good idea. It is usually available through the seller at a small fee. Now ebay is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to finding bargains on good jewelry. Another good site is called bidz it is a real time auction that has a wide array of jewelry available 24 hours a day. The items are of good quality and are constantly being offered. www.bidz.com.
Now if you are more of a hands on kind of shopper there are several other options available to you. Most larger cities have jewelry outlet stores where you are able to purchase fine quality jewelry at a wholesale prices. Often these outlet stores buy directly from the jewelry manufacturer and are able to pass the savings on to you the customer. Again, this is very important ASK questions. Sizing may not be included in the price and refunds may not be offered. The benefits of buying in person are of course being able to see and try on your pieces prior to purchasing.
Another option is to purchase used jewlery from pawn shops or classified ads. Pawn shops are a good option if you are on a limited budget. There is usually a wide selection of rings, watches and gold at very low prices. They usually are not returnable so make sure that you like what you are buying.
Now that you have some options on where to find those hidden treasures there are a few guidelines you might want to remember. Make sure that gemstones are genuine. You can always get confirmation from a jewler but often people think they are getting genuine stones and fail to confirm it with the merchant and wind up being disappointed later on. Ask questions, get as much information as possible prior to handing over your hard earned cash. It is your responsibility as a buyer to be informed. Nobody wants to have a collection of jewelry that they never wear. It may have been a good deal but if it's collecting dust it really wasn't such a bargain now was it? And lastly, enjoy yourself! Often searching for those bargains is more fun than actually buying them, experiment with different styles, try something new! Have fun and happy hunting!
