Can't Let Go
I tell myself to let go,
Move on with my life,
He doesn't love me,
I'll never be his wife.
We won't grow old together,
We won't hold hands in the dark.
We'll never slow dance to a song that's our own.
But I can't help but to turn to you...
With my arms open wide
Praying one day you'll see the light.
I'm not what you are wanting...
I'll never measure up...
To all the beautiful ones who you do hold tight.
Still I can't let go,
Can't seem to move on.
I see you every where I go,
Your always in my thoughts...
And even though you told me to,
I can't find another who"ll measure up.
I'm sure in time I'll move on,
Look back at this all and have a good laugh,
For the silliness I have shown,
But for now I can't let go of the man who'll never love a girl like me.
