A Blank Piece Of Paper
It sits in front of me...
Mocking...
Daring me to mare it's untouched surface.
Longing to hold all my great words...
To be the first to absorb all that I dream.
All the secrets deep within my soul...
Thoughts that most wouldn't dare want to know.
A blank piece of paper...
My best friend...
Always stable...
Always true...
Just waiting for my magic to come through.
It knows one day it will be a crumbled tattered rough draft...
With drops of coffee defacing it's surface...
Still it doesn't care...
It wants to be part of it all...
To go from a blanket piece of paper to my humble work of art.
