Wistful, she sighs
Alone in the open
Considering flaws
Pondering strengths
Her wounds are open
Her doors are closed
With anger now distant
And bitterness embraced
She suffers in silence
She wonders again
Well, why me?
She lifts her head
Lips gently tremble
Swallow your pride.
Foot before the other
Keep your chin held high
