Poetry: Valentine's Day

by Josh Nisenson

Grab your love and hold it true,
find your others soul as you careen into the emotional depths....
Only beautiful hope breathes anew,
for joy and euphoria and each others' spiritual breaths....

Only lovers can know the truth,
while all else fades into the nothingness of secondary thought....
Consciousness longs for loves sweet tooth,
and joyous embrace encapsulates the bodies so taut...

It builds and grows in strength and sound,
a mixture of rhapsody ensconced in ardent zeal....
Wonderous human delight abounds,
a song with notes so tremendously powerful, so real....

With love and song and emotion brought forth,
created by lovers whose bodies unite...
It breaks through clouds with sudden warmth,
and casts upon us all with might....

I know this love, you know it too,
a treasure forever rendered in memory...
So sensual, strong, a sublime view,
it fills our souls with endless propensity...

So when you sit at home alone,
on a day reminding you of all that you miss...
become one with yourself my loves,
and learn to give yourself true bliss!
