These days, celebrities are news. Everything they say, everywhere they go, and even their families suddenly become national news. So what are the stars up to this year? I'm no astrologer, but I can sure tell you my predictions on what Hollywood's elite. And I can also tell you who I think is going to make a comeback and who might not be so successful at an attempt to comeback. Read on.

We all know that over the last few years Britney Spears has struggled with her career and personal life. But with her album release of last year it looked as though she might make a real comeback....or not. Recently, Britney's former manager had sued her and her family for various reasons including assault. But with a tour coming in the spring only time will tell.

It wasn't even two years ago that Owen Wilson reportedly tried to commit suicide after a breakup with his then-girlfriend Kate Hudson. But now it appears that they are back together. He also will continue to crank out comedies and perhaps when another award for his most recent film Marley and Me.

Like Britney and Owen, Lindsay Lohan has had some previous struggles including a run-in with the Los Angeles Police Department less than two years ago(remember that famous mugshot?) Now she seems to be back on track with gal pal Sam Ronson(sister to famous London Disc Jockey Mark Ronson, and a twin sister of fashion designer Charlotte Ronson) and making movies(Labor Pains is due out this year). I predict that Lindsay will continue to make headlines, but more about her career and less of her personal life.

The long awaited Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy finally came out in December of 2008, but will it bring Axl Rose back into the spotlight? Unless your craving the old rock sounds of the nineteen-nineties heyday, I think the only thing that will keep him on our minds is his controversial ways of life.

When American Pie alum Tara Reid gets out of the swank Promises rehab in the chic Malibu, California, she will go on to promote her upcoming films Lord of Canaan and The Beautiful Outsiders. Pehaps she can get back on track of Hollywood's A List and forget her past of the scary reality television show Taradise and P. Diddy's birthday peep show.

Yet another alum of New Yori City's Professional Children's School didn't fare so well either(at least career wise). What is Macaulay Culkin up to anyway? According to Wikipedia, he's going to star on an NBC drama called Kings, upcoming this March. Its predicted to be a hit. Now the question is, will he make any more upcoming movies? I think he will!
