A lazy afternoon
spent 'neath the large tree,
hammock bound and shoeless.
I listen to the birds chirp,
with eyes closed and meditating.
Relaxation-stress gone away,
sun's heat on my toes.
Hearing the buzz of the bee,
mower and children voices in the distance.
I celebrate the lazy afternoon!

the echo of the bedside alarm clock. As for
those cutie pies, God knows I love
Procrastination is not a destination.
Laziness is not delayed satisfaction.
Curing both is just a matter of love.
