Poetry: Spring

"A Flower Blooms"

A flower blooms
The wind subsides
A chirp...
Another!
A song...

Leaves unfold before our eyes
On branches,
smooth...
and strong

Winter's swept out with our brooms,
while drapes are drawn to brighten rooms
Young maidens meet their future grooms
What causes this?

A flower blooms
