- BOURJOIS, PARIS . EFFET 3D LIP GLOSS ROSE SYMPHONIC -

I love the Bourjois range of cosmetics. For me, it is either Benefit or Bourjois and these two are the only brands that I choose to use. Apart from the odd item from Yves Saint Laurent, these two brands deliver imaginative and exciting products that really make me want to own them. The Bourjois brand has a fantastic and up to date image. It is slightly more avant garde in its approach to their image branding than most and I love their products and own many of them.

I am, for my sins, a bit of a 'girly girl'. I suppose I am like any other woman when it comes to make-up, I have shed loads of it, I love it! And I hate to think how much I spend each year in my search for the 'perfect' mascara or plumper lip gloss. My lips are naturally large so I don't need to go too mad in the plumping department or I would end up looking like Leslie Ash with a bad case of 'Trout Mouth' :o But when Bourjois brought out this 3D lip sparkle/gloss I just had to try it. -BOURJOIS 3D EFFECT-

The product comes in a long slim plastic see-thru dispenser which is 4 and half inches long and it has a shaped silver lid. There is silver writing to the front of, 3D Cosmic, Bourjois, Paris. To the top of the lid is a round plastic insert which shows the colour of the product inside, which is a rose pink shade with glittering particles. I usually choose a pink shade because I have fair skin and blonde hair and it seems to suit my colouring. The contents are 7.5ml and the shelf life once opened is 18 months, though I can't see it lasting that long with me. I use quite a lot of gloss and apply it several times a day. Gloss is not like lipstick and it doesn't hold its colouring and shine for long stretches, so it will need re-applying at regular intervals to maintain its appearance. The Bourjois 3D effect gloss is completely vacuum sealed in strong plastic when you buy it, which is great, as you will know that no-one else will have tried it on their lips. I hate it when brands don't seal their cosmetics in this way, as anyone could use and try the product, diminishing its content and it is also not very nice as regards to hygiene...On opening the product, the wand rises up, it seems very full and inside the casing seems to be a grip which ensures that it doesn't release too much of the product, so it comes out with just the right amount on the wand. To the tip of the long wand there is a brush which has the 3D lip gloss on, now I don't know
