Poetry: Emptiness

by Ascencion Torres

Created on: February 10, 2009

Exiled am I from your domain.

A reason as to why?

I fail to explain.

My need, your means,

and ever on.

Yet if I reach I find it gone.

Do you dream?

Is it the same?

or are you just master,

with degree in refrain?

The mad man he sighs and howls at the night.

The sad man laments, for it is he who is right.

The people they gather to pray, to demand,

from leaders so squalid; walking on foriegn sands.

Alone I am gazing at those whom I refuse;

And the rain keeps falling,

as if tears ment for you.
