The Coffee Song

At six the radio comes on and I jump to my feet

I stumble to the bathroom and quickly brush my teeth

Back to the coffee pot to pour me a cup of joe

I know it ain't a pretty sight, but thats just how it goes

A cup of coffee in my hand, I stumble to the truck

I place it in its holder there as I start, to back up

Swinging wide to miss a cat, it spills into my lap

Screaming loud, I can't move, seat belts got me in a trap

Now I'm flying down the road No coffee in my hand It seems I'm always running late I know you understand Late or not I've got to stop at that coffee shop You know I need that caffeine buzz, Thats what I like a lot.

The boss is standing there, looking like a jerk
