Songs: My wife

by Mae Blake

Created on: February 09, 2009

Verse 1:

One night in late December I got down on one knee

And asked you if you'd spend a lifetime loving only me

You didn't say a word, only cried a little bit

And when you tried the diamond ring it was a perfect fit

Pre-chorus:

Now the day has arrived, you're floating down the aisle

And all I can do is smile

Chorus:

You've shown me how lucky life can be

I never knew the man inside until you started loving me

Tonight we start a new life

I'm honoured to take your hand and tell the world

You're my wife

Verse 2:

Now we're gliding on the dance floor, I hold you close to me

You almost make me tremble with the way you look at me

You're more beautiful than ever, and your touch says it all

I'll never let you go, no I'll never let you fall

Chorus
