High school is a long ways back now

And it's a bit late to take things back now

But I just want to admit that I've never wanted another but you

I know I created a life without you

And it seems I had forgotten all about you

But I just want to make you understand the awful, awful truth

I've been beating around the bush all this time

I'm hoping that I will get it right this time

This is the course I've chosen, and I'm going to see it through
