life. Shyness can be a painful quality to overcome in life, playing soccer can certainly be of help though, and getting a shy kid to play soccer will provide that kid with a good chance of growing out of their shyness and learning to be more confident in life.

Soccer is a team game, and whether there are 5, 7, 11, or whatever number of people on each team; interaction will be required, and you'll need to learn to work well with others if you're to be successful in soccer. Working with others plays a big part in life, and if you can learn teamwork on the soccer field then this is a transferable quality as a life skill. Playing soccer is therefore very good for kids as it readies them for life in ways that they wouldn't be if they weren't involved in team sports. Team sports of any description require team work, that's the name of the game, and soccer is a very good sport at getting people to work together well as a team.

Soccer is good for kids for many different reasons, and the younger that kids get involved in the sport; the better. The younger a kid is when starting to play soccer, the better they're likely to become, and the more they're likely to get out of the sport. Soccer is a great game for kids to play, and a sport that a kid can get a lot out of being involved in.
