should post pictures of themselves being social. Don't post pictures of yourself being drunk, just demonstrate that you have friends and you're not a loser creep. If you have female friends, women are much more likely to feel comfortable around you. Likewise, women will see your status in your social group.

Women should post full-body pictures of themselves. Dont' forget that men are looking for that elusive hip-to-waist ratio. Secondly, men want women with nice hair. This may seem like a trivial thing, but again, men want healthy women - hair says a great deal about health.

Finally, post a picture of yourself traveling. Women like men who get out of the house and lead exciting lives. If you have a picture of yourself in the wilderness, or a foreign city, or even disneyland, you want to show that image of yourself. Women will imagine themselves on the trip with you.

Men want to see a woman when she's feeling excited - one of the best ways to express emotional honest is by being out and about.

Things to avoid: semi-naked photos, gross drunken photos, and photos of you frowning or being negative. Don't be the guy with his shirt pulled up in the bathroom mirror showing off his abs; don't be the girl with the generously exposed boobs.

Your Occupation

People who are truly rich rarely need to explain their wealth to other people. Let the other person know you are a stable; it's best to avoid gold-diggers. If you're a student, describe what your life plan is going to be.

Sexual conversation

Unless the conversation is initially sexual, do not mention the word sex. Men have the initiative here. Unless the conversation is sexually tense from the beginning, do not bring the conversation to a sexual place. Focus on feelings. Explain how you are feeling - women read romance novels and tend to think of sex in an emotional fashion. Men tend to be attracted to healthy women with a particular hip-to-waist ratio. Watch an episode of Sex in the City or Desperate Housewives and you'll understand what women think about sex. Examine the appeal of the top female sex symbols (try Maxim magazine or an issue of Penthouse) and you'll understand what men want in a woman.

Summary

Remember that despite the competition with thousands, if not billions, of other people competiting for the same date, you have to provide some sort of emotional value for those people. Don't be afraid to say no! Don't be desperate.

Overall, your profile should be able to be read in one sitting. If you're a complex person, don't post a novel.

If you think about how many people are online, understand that your time is valuable - there are hundreds of people that you could possibly meet in the time wasted with a person who might not be your ideal match. DON'T WASTE TIME - see if they are interested and move on!
