Tropic Thunder (2008) Starring Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Jack Black... This movie was TERRIBLE. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

First, I would like to mention that I hate Ben Stiller, he is not funny, not a good actor, and is painful to watch. You may ask, why would I go see a movie that stars an actor I hate? Well I agree I should have known better, but I had heard that many poeple liked it. So I saw it. BAD MOVE. At no point did I laugh. At no point did I think, this was even interesting. Start to finish this movie was terrible. And what the hell was Robert Downey Jr doing as a black man? Not that it would have been any better if he was white, but that was just stupid. None of the jokes were funny. The story was brain damaged. I am amazed that it made it to theaters. It depresses me that poeple actually enjoyed this. Absolutely horrid, I don't even have the words to describe how much I disliked this film.

If i had to choose between seeing this again and having someone cut off my pinky with a rusty can opener, I would seriously consider losing my pinky. I know I would at least think about it for a few minutes.

There was no real female role... they needed something, you would think Jack Black could make it funny.. But he failed. Ben Stiller's crappy acting and Robert Downey Jr attempting to be black ruined anything that Jack Black could have done. They really should have thought of something. Throwing another popular name in the mix obviously isn't going to help, they tried that.

DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE. Seriously, it's terrible. I am a fan of silly comedy, I even like some of those scary movie movies, and those 'epic movie' type films are humorious sometimes. But seriously, I am not sure what this was supposed to be. I couldnt even tell at what part of the movie I was supposed to laugh. And that's a bad sign.

I wonder who reads the script and says 'oh, that looks like a great movie!'... oh wait, BEN STILLER. This whole movie was written by him. Which is depressing, he is a moron. Seriously, who thinks he should be writing films? He needs to go live in a box or something.. or stick to the Meet the Fockers movies. At least those are a little funny. Something about Mary was funny... but not because of Ben Stiller.

Bottom line is, if you like terrible 'comedy' movies that are not funny have a horrible plot, don't make much since and have a white guy attempting to play a black guy... see this movie. Otherwise, you probably better off watching paint dry.
