On The Celebration Of Your Mid-life
Chronology is an earthly burden,
set to limit the length of one's lesson.
For me you are ageless, spanning light years
and universes to touch me,
helpmate to enhance the curious mind,
navigator of vague highways.
Take note, the glass is yet half filled,
plenty of time left to spread wings.
I only know I want to fly with you,
one year, upon year, after year
