Spanish Breakfast
I prefer nachos, the works
with guacamole
but not in the morning
as curve meets curve
in faint, subtle dawn
breath upon breath
the delight is in you.
No mention of dreams be they
pleasant or frightening
just the touch of your hand
to break the silence
stay for a moment
open my day
Breakfast will be a feast.
