When I was in London, England, Great Britain in 1987, I read a book titled "The Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edmund Burke. The book was written as a history of the Roman Empire in the late 1600's and offers some insight into what is happening in America. Many people have tended to dismiss the book and comments about the demise of the United States of America as foolish thinking. Many have even stated: "This has happened in history and in other countries, it cannot happen here".
The reality is that it would be foolish to dismiss the demise of the United States of America just as it was foolish to underestimate the threats to it. Most of our threats and situations that are leading to our demise do not come from the outside but from inside our borders. The reasons are many and should be heeded.
I. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH
The Republicans and Democrats who have misgoverned America for the last one hundred and fifty years have exported their brand of freedom and democracy to the world. The reality is that they never practiced freedom and democracy at home. The Libertarian Party as wel as the Green Party have presented candidates for every public office while the Republicans and Democrats have denied these parties access to ballots and an even playing field.
In the year 2004, the Secretary of State of Ohio nullified 57,000 signatures from the Libertrarian Party in order to present their presidential candidate. In every elections, Republicans and Democrats have threatened to fire people who worked in city, county, and municipal government if they fo not vote Republican or Democrat. This in itself is not symbolic of freedom and democracy.
During the Republican and Democratic Debacle of the last one hundred and fifty years, both parties placed Japanese Americans and other people in concentration camps during World War II. They also forcibly deported Mexican Americans born in the USA to Mexico and destroyed the territories of the Indigenous People of North America. They lied by saying that this was to protect America but the end result was an exposure to the hypocrisy of America. What was the hypocrisy? It was dictating freedom and democracy to a world while repressing it at home.
II. MEDIA DRIVEN ENTERTAINMENT
Our Media has encouraged the demise of the United States of America by promoting our stars and other personalities while ignoring what was happening. The US Mainstream Media was reporting the antics of Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears while the country was in the process of an economic meltdown. The result was that the people found out that the economy was terrible before it was too late.
The US Mainstream Media have also promoted decadence, violence, and other forms of drama with horror as entertainment. We are drowned in Reality TV Programmes that seem to insult our intelligence and the dignity of the people involved. Our media has allowed the Jerry Springers a free hand in the destruction of our society.
III. LACK OF GOD OR ANY CREATOR
David Beck in FOX News once addressed the issue of God and the Creator. He stated that the United States of America has forgotten God and the Creator. Mr. Beck even added that this is happening even thoughb the Declaration of Independence talked about a creator.
When there is no God or Creator, society tends to decompose rapidly. We are seeing schools in which the teachers do not want to teach and the students do not want to learn. We learn of politicians who are on the take as well as the corruption in all spheres of government.
We have encouraged laziness by encouraging illegal and legal immigrants to do the work that we as a nation should be doing but are too lazy to do. It is a crime that the United States of America has come to this extent.
IV. LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY
The United States of America does not want to take responsibility for its debacle. It blames the Latins inside and outside Latin America as well as the Chinese, Russians, and Iranians. The Chinese, Russians, and Iranians have television programmes that enlighten and do not promote vices. They also have programmes that promote family and a positive work ethic. We should not blame them for our failures.
We should accept blame for not preparing ourselves for a highly competitive world, for allowing ourselves to sign away our houses and properties to unscrupulous Wall Street Executives. I also would like to tell the Wall Street Executives and Politicians that they are responsible for their actions including destroying the confidence of the people in the institutions.
V. INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENTS WITHIN THE USA
The outside forces are not destoying the United States of America. It is the Republicans, Democrats, and other institutions who destroyed America and have stimulated desires for independence in many areas of the country.
Alaska wants to become an Independent Country after being the butt of jokes during the 2008 Elections. In the state of Vermont, people are supporting the notion of an Independent Vermont. The same applies to Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina, California, New Hampshire, and Idaho. The Sioux Nations that are located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nebraska have declared their independence as Lakota Oyate.
VI. LIFE IS NOT RESPECTED
As I am writing this article, the FOCA [Freedom of Choice Act] is being debated which will force people to pay for abortions and cancel all rights reagrding it that are guaranteed by states, cities, and counties. The United States of America has become a country in which the reincarnation of Herod is present. I am talking about Herod the king who ordered the killings of babies because of Jesus.
The United States of America has killed more than fifty billion babies since abortion was legalized. My so called country has killed babies through partial birth abortions, and vacuuming that it sickens me. Even Nancy Pelosi has stated that "Birth Control is a form of Population Control" in an interview on ABC News. Any society that kills its babies is a society that does not deserve to be defended and is actually looking for its downfall.
While the only thing that may save the United States of America is a return to God, respect for human life, and a Libertarian Government, it appears that the demise of the United States of America is inevitable.
