When I was in London, England, Great Britain in 1987, I read a book titled "The Fall of the Roman Empire" by Edmund Burke. The book was written as a history of the Roman Empire in the late 1600's and offers some insight into what is happening in America. Many people have tended to dismiss the book and comments about the demise of the United States of America as foolish thinking. Many have even stated: "This has happened in history and in other countries, it cannot happen here".

The reality is that it would be foolish to dismiss the demise of the United States of America just as it was foolish to underestimate the threats to it. Most of our threats and situations that are leading to our demise do not come from the outside but from inside our borders. The reasons are many and should be heeded.

I. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH

The Republicans and Democrats who have misgoverned America for the last one hundred and fifty years have exported their brand of freedom and democracy to the world. The reality is that they never practiced freedom and democracy at home. The Libertarian Party as wel as the Green Party have presented candidates for every public office while the Republicans and Democrats have denied these parties access to ballots and an even playing field.

In the year 2004, the Secretary of State of Ohio nullified 57,000 signatures from the Libertrarian Party in order to present their presidential candidate. In every elections, Republicans and Democrats have threatened to fire people who worked in city, county, and municipal government if they fo not vote Republican or Democrat. This in itself is not symbolic of freedom and democracy.

During the Republican and Democratic Debacle of the last one hundred and fifty years, both parties placed Japanese Americans and other people in concentration camps during World War II. They also forcibly deported Mexican Americans born in the USA to Mexico and destroyed the territories of the Indigenous People of North America. They lied by saying that this was to protect America but the end result was an exposure to the hypocrisy of America. What was the hypocrisy? It was dictating freedom and democracy to a world while repressing it at home.

II. MEDIA DRIVEN ENTERTAINMENT

Our Media has encouraged the demise of the United States of America by promoting our stars and other personalities while ignoring what was happening. The US Mainstream Media was reporting the antics of Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears while the country
