And I Love You
Messages unbottled, Bottled up inside.
Feelings unfelt, Stirring after all this time.
Thoughts thinking, Puddles of salty ponderings.
A pillow long since dried, A heart still scarred.
Arms wrapped around a little memory
Too much, Too little....
Is it too late?
Drowning in questions, Drowning in answers.
Dreaming a dream like a soft Autumn breeze.
Softly drifting to another time so Serene.
I look in the mirror,
Seeing you looking at me.
Throwing words in the dark,
Echoing back to me.
I've spent years and tears,
Time and Tenderness....
A life not living, just breathing....
Simply to say I Love You.
And I Love You.

without the kind of trouble, that
wounds the soul and leaves the whole
of heart and mind in rubble.
