Oh my sugar, my only one!
Such saccharine times, such daisy experiences I have with you.
Before we met, dusky times I had,
Now the light of joy, bright times with my star!
Bright green feelings, gold and verdant,
Such contrast to dark brown of loneliness!
No more sullen, leaden skies,
Brilliant sunshine, the light of my life!
I hope these wondrous times continue,
And that they never end,
Until perhaps we both expire,
And the pain of solitude has no impact,
And the peace of oblivian instead of dark gloom begins.
